Heart Catheterization Again

They did an exploratory heart cath on Lyla today.

They were able to see a significant amount of growth, even more than expected and they need to go in and fully repair Lyla's heart.

They don't want to wait too long to go in for the repair as Lyla could grow out of her shunt.

We arrived at the hospital at 6am. There was a scary snow storm back home and we barely missed it. Yikes!

Lyla was all smiles when the nurses brought her a car to ride in. We walked around and around and around. She was as happy as a clam, except that she wanted and signed for MILK! It is so hard for them when they don't understand why you cant feed them.

Lyla was all smiles waiting to go in for the heart cath.

She went with the nurse easily and didn't cry! My HERO!

Lyla came out of surgery much easier this time and she looked up at me and said, "Hi Momma." The nurse gave Lyla this kitty and she wouldn't let it go! She hugged and kissed it the whole time!
